The suffering of the Ukraine is on a catastrophic scale

Qard Hasan will continue to support Ukraine refugees by sending support to them and helping to evacuate their women and children. For others who have fled to other countries, they are free to contact Qard Hasan to assist them in resettling and legalization of their stay and job assistance.

On 24 February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. The invasion caused Europe's fastest-growing refugee crisis since World War II, with more than 7.2 million Ukrainians fleeing the country and a third of the population displaced.

More than 7.2 million refugee movements have been recorded out of Ukraine, while at the same time, authorities have reported more than 2.3 million movements back into the country since 28 February. Inside Ukraine, many people who are trapped are unable to meet their basic needs including for food, water and medicines

The delivery of life-saving aid remains challenging, with a lack of safe humanitarian access in areas where intense hostilities are ongoing. UNHCR and partners continue striving to reach hard-hit areas with life-saving assistance as part of inter-agency humanitarian convoys.

What we are doing to help

Qard Hasan is delivering life-saving emergency aid to Ukraine refugees …

In addition to distributing food aid, we have partnered with, UK government, Estonia Government and Turkish Red Crescent to build Qard Hasan Village, which consists of shelters for refugees, school for children, a playground facility, a laundry facility, a mosque and also a walk in clinic.

It is through your donations that these projects continue, and we are able to provide support to the many thousands that need it. Please continue to give more. We are asking anyone housing any Ukrainian refugee freely to contact us for more assistance. We also need agents who can search them to enable us locate them for assistance.
